Exercise Physiology Services

Exercise Physiologists (EPs) are allied healthcare professionals with a four-year university degree in Human Movement Science. Right at Home Allied Health EPs help people to improve their quality of life through exercise. EPs can work in a variety of settings including hospitals, gyms, and private practices, and collaborate with other health care professionals like physiotherapists, GPs, podiatrists, and chiropractors. In a clinical setting, EPs manage long-term rehabilitation and physical lifestyle support.

Holistic, Personalised Healing Approach

An EP performs body/physical fitness assessments including pre-screening/risk classification, blood pressure/heart rate, body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. After analysing the assessment, they create personalised exercise programs to help clients achieve their specific goals, prevent injuries, and manage any clinical, chronic, and orthopaedic conditions.

EPs can support the rehabilitation of patients of all ages and stages of life. EP clients may be recovering from surgery, have cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, or neurological conditions, suffer from poor mental health, struggle with weight management or staying on top of their physical fitness.
