Clinical Pilates
"Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness." — Joseph Pilates
Pilates is a low impact form of exercise designed to improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness. It emphasises core stability, alignment, and controlled movements, making it suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Right at Home Allied Health Pilates classes focus on building a strong foundation for overall health and wellbeing. Our instructors are also allied health professionals and focus on enhancing core strength while fostering deep mind-body connections to help reduce stress and promote mental clarity.
Pilates Mat
Pilates is traditionally practiced on a mat, using body weight and simple props to strengthen the core, improve flexibility, and enhance stability. It emphasises precise movements, alignment, and breath control to promote better posture, balance, and overall body awareness.
Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates builds on the principles of traditional Pilates with the use of a specialised machine called the reformer. The Pilates Reformer is a unique and challenging piece of equipment that adds resistance and variety to traditional Pilates workouts. The Reformer provides a low-impact workout that targets every muscle group. Featuring adjustable springs and straps, it provides both resistance and support to perform a wide range of exercises.
